Summary: In the spring of 2005 The 23 New Jersey CCRCs had 9957 units, of which 6539 were independent living, 1381 were assisted living and 1677 were skilled nursing/long term care. An additional 1531units are planned, of which 1004 will be at Cedarcrest. Fee increases averaged 4.69% in independent living units, 5.37% in assisted living, and 6.57% in skilled nursing.
