Ann Cooper, Secretary - Treasurer

Ann and her husband Lew moved to Applewood Estates in 1997. She is Secretary-Treasurer and serves on the Executive Committee of ORANJ. She has been a member of the Executive Committee and served as Secretary of the Residents' Association at Applewood Estate for four years.

With a BS degree in chemistry from St. Lawrence University she learned X-ray diffraction as an employee of GE. Then she had a long career as Member of Technical Staff at Bell Telephone Laboratories growing and studying crystals for physical research.

Ann and Lew moved to Applewood Estates from a 1790s house which they built starting with an old barn, using parts from old houses throughout New England. It was a reproduction of the antique house they had owned in upstate New York.
