Marcy grew up in South Orange and has lived there for most of her life. A graduate of Princeton Seminary, Marcy, whose husband was a Presbyterian minister, pursued a career in higher education administration, working at Columbia and NYU before moving to a for-profit company that sold and serviced software to manage the full range of services for colleges and universities.
Following retirement, Marcy had more time for volunteer work. She expanded her involvement with Bergen County Habitat, serving twice as interim director of the Affiliate. In addition, she broadened her work with the Presbyterian Church, serving as Chair of the Committee on Ministry and Moderator of Palisades Presbytery.
She has just completed her terms as President of the Residents and Members Council of Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge and looks forward to collaborating with members of ORANJ.
