My earlier post gave the wrong date. Assembly Bill A2747 will be up for a vote at 1 pm on Thursday, June 28. Moreover Senate Bill 1532 will also be voted on Thursday, June 28 — at 2 pm. When you phone your representatives or senator please mention the appropriate bill number and ask them to reject any floor amendments. We support the bills approved Monday. Legislature members’ telephone numbers can be accessed by going to http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/districts/municipalities.asp. Ron is sending a letter to all presidents with details and directions on attending the sessions — so please contact your RAC president if you are able to go to Trenton. There have been continuing attempts to add amendments unacceptable to ORANJ. Please attend if you can.
