Participants from sixteen of the twenty-five ORANJ communities discussed a variety of topics, including availability of nurses for Independent living residents.
After some discussion centering on the difficulty of signing in to the Zoom, the method of finding these conversations was explicated. Go to oranjccrc.org and choose the blog menu. The most recent Second Wednesday Conversations are listed, along with a summary of the topics discussed, and a link to a video of the entire Zoom. Residents can post comments on the website under the blog link.
ORANJ still needs a treasurer; the duties are not exhaustive.
The discussion shifted to the management and offerings of gift shops or other shopping options, as well as menus and dieticians at various communities.
The problems associated with hiring and keeping high school servers was examined with an eye toward various scholarship programs, possibly making retention more successful.
Members described various methods of intra-community shuttle service.
If you want to view a video of the conversation, a link and passcode is provided.
